Software Services Support Engineer
Permanent      Salary: £ 32000 - £ 45000
Location: Deptford

Customer Support Engineer required to join a dynamic team combining technical and communication expertise to assist customers including troubleshooting, customer onboarding, issue tracking, recommending product improvements and authoring technical support documents.

 

 

Requirements

 

Bachelor degree in a technical subject.

Strong A Levels in numerate or scientific subjects.

Experience in a technical customer service role.

Technical troubleshooting skills.

Data analysis understanding.

Written English communication skill for drafting technical documents, manuals, and support FAQs.

SQL and programming experience a bonus

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Provide Technical Customer Services support typically as the primary point of contact for customers, answering questions and troubleshooting technical issues via phone, email, and chat.

Onboarding customers, guide them through the installation or update of products and services.

Oversee Customer Service Improvements.

Enhance customer support quality by redesigning processes.

Track and report service escalations and develop plans for continuous improvement and recommend product improvements.

Write Support Documentation, create and maintain product and service documents.

Develop tools to improve support flows, such as updating websites, adding help tips to support apps, and refining phone scripts for customer service calls.
