Every day will bring new and exciting challenges on the job while you: · Learn and use groundbreaking technologies. · Interact with leading engineers and guru-level software architects around the world. · Work with cutting-edge technical concepts and technologies. · Partner with Wisegaming stakeholders to create world-class solutions. · Drive customer communication during critical events. · Write and own code, tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community. · Work on critical, highly complex design challenges. · Work within a team of Agile enthusiasts WHAT DOES A SENIOR BACKEND DEVELOPER DO AT WISEGAMING? · Developing secure and scalable services with JavaScript (with Node.js ) in Lambda. · Writing automated tests, documentation, example applications and tutorials for developed services. · Making code reviews, refactorings on a regular basis. · Collaborating with the rest of the development team and business to meet objectives · On a typical day, a Senior Backend Developer will be primarily responsible for understanding customers’ needs through a variety of customer contact channels which include telephone, email, and web/live chat. You will provide tailored and excellent solutions for our customers and drive customer value creation by thoughtfully working with customers to create sustainable, secure, scalable and efficient services. · Apart from working on a broad spectrum of technical development, Senior Backend Developer may also coach/mentor new hires, develop & present training, partner with development teams on complex issues or contact deflection initiatives, participate in new hiring, write tools/script to help the team, or work with leadership on process improvement and strategic initiatives. · Career development: We promote advancement opportunities across the organisation to help you meet your career goals. · Training: We have training programs to help you develop the skills required to be successful in your role. QUALIFICATIONS DE BASE • Bachelor’s degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field OR equivalent experience in a technical position • Advanced experience with popular AWS Services like Lambda, API Gateway, Cloudfront, Cloudformation, DynamodDB, Aurora. • Advanced experience with JavaScript, TypeScript and NodeJS. • Advanced experience with SQL and NoSQL databases • Advanced experience with communication concepts including REST, WebSockets, MQTT • Advanced experience with AWS SDK • In-depth understanding of security, scalability and architectural sustainability • In-depth understanding of distributed web applications.
